Monitoring of work in the treaty is of the utmost importance. The licensee may appoint, in accordance with the rules set out in the agreement, a supervisor to supervise the work performed. Under the Contract Work Act of 1970, the company is considered the main employer in the contract and the workers are considered the workers of the main employer. 1. The company designates the contractor as a contractor for the supply of labour who carries out the loading and unloading operations in a company vessel when it arrives in that port. 4. The contractor carries out the labour supply activity at each establishment, including specialized work in loading and unloading cargoes of ships at the aforementioned and other ports in India and the contractor is licensed under this Contract Labour (Regulation Regulation ) Abolition Act 1970. 27. In the event of disagreement between the company and the contractor regarding this agreement and the implementation of the decision of the company`s chief executive, this obligation is final and binding on the contractor. 2. The company informs the contractor, for at least eight days, of the date on which the company`s vessel is likely to arrive in that port and when the vessel is anchored in that port, is likely to leave the port after having shipped the goods reserved with the transport company. The company also informs the contractor of the number of workers needed to unload the ship arriving at port and how many workers will be required to load the vessel leaving port.
