We were lucky and we had some great owners. We dealt with it directly for any problems with the house. Our lease ended on July 23 and after constantly pursuing Frank Innes for updates, an agreement was reached on our deposit. You have not refunded our money. Some people in the Mansfield office seem to be kind enough, but the woman we treated, Pauline, was incredibly rude and acted as if she was doing us a favour just to do her job. We were lied to and accused the owners several times for mistakes they had made. The whole process seemed mysterious. Our former owners go with another agency…. Maybe that`s why our deposit takes so long to get back. It`s absolutely awful! Avoid! I rented a property through it and although the rental process was relatively straight the fees are extorted.

Housing issues were dealt with very slowly and I spent hours and hours following the responses of their property management team. I didn`t have a cauldron after an electrical problem for almost two weeks, and they had the audacity to tell me it had been turned off. (I`m a real estate manager myself – not an idiot. Well done all over the country!) At the end of my lease, fortunately, I was released prematurely. But three weeks later, I`m still chasing my overpaid rent (for most of the month – not a small amount) and after talking with the subsidiary and then the real estate manager, despite the promised updates, I`m no further ahead. Now for the deposit. I am fully aware of any legislation relating to deposits and refunds of deposits. However, it was not acceptable not to have heard a word in two weeks. I followed this with the property management team to be very rude, and to be honest, I was horrified by their attitude. She barked at me that she had not received the check out (w2 weeks later) and that she had trials to follow.

I understand, but when I told him that it was unacceptable not to have received the cash register after two weeks, was his answer (is it? Is it really llllly?) I was outraged at this point. Another week has passed and nothing else is heard than a snotty email that tells me she has the checkout and she will not be in touch again until she has spoken or heard of the owner. Let`s see how long they pay money and keep my deposit back. It`s awful. It`s horrible. That`s rude. No communication. Idiots stealing money.
